Payment: A deposit of $_________ has been received
for the puppy described above. The balance of $________ will be
due when the puppy is picked up. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be
transferred to another litter. Deposits are nonrefundable
and nontransferable on any puppy older than 6 weeks.
You must select a puppy before the litter is six (6) weeks old. Once you have selected a puppy your deposit will no longer be
transferable. This deposit will hold the selected puppy until 8 weeks of
age. If the puppy is not picked up or can't be shipped because of
weather, an additional fee of $5 per day will be charged to cover
board and early training.
Health Guarantee: The puppy is guaranteed to have regular deworming,
all shots recommended to age of puppy when picked up, and flea, tick and heartworm
preventive (through the dam's milk up to weaning and then Revolution). The puppy will be
started on premium quality dry food, dietary supplements and/or glucosamine supplements for
strong joints and optimum growth. The puppy is guaranteed to be free of
genetic hip and eye defects until the age of 26 months.
The dog must be
tested by a certified Veterinary Optometrist and CERF tested for the eye
guarantee to be valid. The puppy
must be fed a low protein diet (23% or less) from the age of 3-4 months to the age of 26 months and
restricted from excessive stress on joints as a result of strenuous

the dog is diagnosed with PRA, CEA or CHD, the dog will be replaced with
a puppy as soon as one becomes available.
The defective dog must be returned to the breeder. If the
breeder allows the buyer to keep the dog proof of
neutering/spaying must be provided prior to replacement.
Delivery costs for shipping a replacement puppy and/or returning the
defective puppy/dog will be paid by the buyer. The breeder is
not responsible for any expenses related to the raising or
training of the dog prior to hip and eye testing or for any veterinary
costs.
Feeding Requirements: Because of the close relationship
between diet and CHD, the buyer agrees to feed their puppy 1/2 Flint River
Ranch dogfood (mixed with 1/2 dry food of their choice) and provide NuVet
Plus supplements to their puppy on a daily basis until the puppy is two
years old in order for the Health Guarantee to be valid.
PHF Stockdog Guarantee: The puppy
is guaranteed to show interest in working livestock by the age of 12
months. If it does not show interest in working livestock, it will be replaced with a new puppy
when available.
The original dog purchased must be returned.
Registration: All PHF Border Collie litters will be registered with
ABCA. The buyer agrees that when they transfer the registration to their
name, they will maintain
the registered name of the dog with the prefix PHF within
the Registered name of the dog. (Example: PHF Bob).
Return Guarantee: If
at any time during the life of any dog purchased at PHF you no longer
want your dog, we will take your dog back with the following terms: PHF will not provide financial compensation for the dog and
we must have space available. The dog must not have developed any
dysfunctional behaviors (such as biting people, climbing fences,
excessive barking, etc.). The buyer must pay for all costs
associated with return of the dog to PHF. The dog must be current
on all shots and tested negative for Bordatella (kennel cough)
prior to being brought to PHF.
If PHF is unable to take your dog back, we will do everything possible to help you sell
or re-home your dog. PHF will not reimburse the
buyer for the cost of the puppy, training or other expenses incurred prior to
the return of the puppy. Delivery costs for shipping puppies back are the
responsibility of the buyer.

I understand and agree to all information included in the
shipping agreement. I understand that once my dog
has been delivered to the departing airport, PHF is no longer

that it is my choice to have my dog shipped and that I am solely responsible for any problems incurred during shipping or
after as a result of shipping.
I, the undersigned, understand and agree to all of the terms
specified in the above contract.
