Summer Saturday Dog Obedience

2011 Schedule

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
on the following Saturdays:

4th, 11th, 18th
2nd, 9th, 23rd, 30th

Each lesson will involve working with your dog followed by a brief discussion with our trainers about specific problems or questions regarding your dog.

Fee:  $20/lesson/dog.  Pay at the gate for each lesson.

Supplies needed:  

One 4 to 6-foot leash (no extendables).
One 20-25 foot training line.
A good collar (no harnesses).

 

 

Year-'Round Services 
for Family Dogs

Requirements for ALL SERVICES: 

1.  All dogs must be current with vaccinations and deworming programs.

2.  All dogs must be on a flea and tick preventive.

3.  All dogs must be on a leash at all times (unless instructed otherwise).

 

Private Lessons

Select your favorite trainer then call 429-6388 to make your first appointment!

Erin Ledbetter
Erin is available for private lessons any day of the week.  She is a natural handler and very capable with all kinds of dogs.  $35/hr 

Joe Hughes
Joe is available for private lessons every day but Sundays.  He is especially good with larger breeds and stubborn dogs.  $35/hr

Robin Taylor
Robin is available for private lessons only during the summer.  She is an excellent trainer and excels with smaller breeds.  $50/hr

Vicki Hughes
Vicki is available for private lessons only during the summer.  She is an experienced handler and very capable with dogs that have special problems.  $50/hr

 

In-Home Training Sessions

Need a trainer to come to your home?  We can provide in-home training for your dog(s).  In-home training provides you with a trainer who will work with 
YOU and your dog where the behaviors are happening...in your home.  
$50/hour and $1.00 per mile.

 

Rehabilitation for Dogs 
with Emotional and Behavioral Issues

The Team:  Erin, Joe and Vicki

We work as a team to rehabilitate dogs that have problems such as fears, shyness, *incompatibility with family members (including other animals), obsessive-compulsive behaviors, etc. 

*We do not work with dogs that are aggressive toward people.  This is not to be confused with dogs that are fearful of people.

These kinds of behaviors often require that the dog be boarded with us.  Our facilities are not fancy but are safe and secure.  Please note that the kinds of problems that are typical of dogs in this program will take several months to work out.

$45/lesson without board
$395/month with board
