Working Adult Anatolian Shepherd Livestock Guardian Dogs
These dogs are former breeding dogs, puppies not sold as puppies, and dogs purchased as puppies that have been returned for a variety of reasons. All of these dogs are sold with a trial period of three weeks and can be returned at any time during that period for a full refund.
While in our care, all of these dogs are exposed to livestock depending on their individual personalities and working history. Those here from birth will have been started with chickens and sheep.

Big Abby has been a wonderful breeding dog for our program. She has been with us her entire life. She is beautiful and very kind. Abby had to be spayed when she developed a ulcer in her uterine horn during whelping a litter of puppies. She is good with adult sheep, but needs work on lambs or poultry.

Danny is a beautiful intact male that was sold as a puppy and then returned. He is bold and watchful with a nice temperament. Danny needs to be with larger livestock (cattle, horses, etc.). He does well with adult sheep for a while, but will exhibit play behavior. He has been working with Harriett and they make a good team.

Harriett is pictured above (looking at you) with an old partner and sheep. Harriett was purchased as a puppy, never individually registered (although the litter is registered), and was returned due to escape behaviors. She works best alone or with a male (she is now happily paired with Danny above). May play with smaller livestock. Best with cows, horses, etc. Does not like other female dogs.

Kayla was purchased as a puppy then returned from Texas when her owner went into Hospice. She guarded poultry and goats in Texas, but is not fully trained. Kayla is not friendly with strangers. Her experience with other dogs is limited.

Duke is big and beautiful. He was sold as a puppy and returned when the owner's baby goats went missing. The owner never found out what happened to his goat kids. Very nice temperament. Needs to be with adult livestock.

Priam is a big male pup with a strong guardian instinct. He has a good working temperament and he is beautiful and well built. Priam has been with chickens since he was very young and gets along well with them. He has also had good exposure to adult sheep and is doing well.
